(Dark warehouse techno: relentless four-on-the-floor kick, pulsing synth stabs, rising filter sweeps, and massive sub-bass drops. Lyrics designed for the dancefloor — short, rhythmic, chantable.)
Tick… tick… roar…
Two-hundred-foot wings…
Scooping the lake…
(Verse 1 (rolling techno groove))
Born in forty-six for the Navy blue,
Hawaii Mars II — the one that flew true.
Cargo across the Pacific wide,
Medevac runs in the Korean tide.
Timber barons bought her, turned the key,
World’s biggest waterbomber set free.
(Build)
Seven-two-hundred gallons in thirty-two seconds flat…
Twenty-seven thousand litres — feel that!
Sproat Lake base, Port Alberni heart…
Fifty million gallons dropped from the start… .
(DROP 1)
HAWAII MARS!
Drop the load — extinguish the stars!
Wingspan two-hundred, engines four,
Red-and-white beast ready for war!
HAWAII MARS!
Coulson’s pride from twenty-oh-seven,
Last fire season fifteen — still heaven!
(Verse 2 (glitchier, filtered))
One of only two left on the entire Earth,
Sister Philippine waiting her turn.
Final flight August eleven, twenty-four,
Snowbirds escort to the museum door.
Patricia Bay landing, crowds on the shore,
Sixty-four years on Sproat Lake — legend forevermore.
(Build 2)
Largest operational flying boat ever made…
Four acres quenched in a single cascade…
Windows shake when she thunders past…
The most effective tanker — built to last…
(DROP 2 (heavier, distorted))
HAWAII MARS!
Scoop the lake — drop the charge!
From Navy freighter to fire’s defeat,
Port Alberni’s guardian on endless repeat!
HAWAII MARS!
One-ninety million litres in her name,
Techno pulse carries the flame!
(Outro (fading kick + residual bass))
Tick… tick… silence…
Museum lights…
Still majestic…
(Final sub-drop hits like a full water release, then pure silence.)
